History Channel debut for New Concord native

New Concord native Joseph Warren had his design work debut Dec. 24 on the History Channel.

Inventionland is the name of the pilot reality show, titled after at the Pittsburgh-based design firm where Warren has worked since 2005.

Warren’s design work will include the live-sketch logo in the introduction, as well as the product renderings of the client inventions throughout the show.

“I am extremely excited to see my design work on national TV, but I am more excited to have my friends and family watch it,” he said.

Warren’s product designs have sold in more than 100 stores including Walgreen’s, Kitchen Collections, Bed Bath & Beyond and on QVC.

“If all goes well, I hope to have people tuning in to the History Channel on a regular basis to see the show,” he said.

Warren is the son of Rita Warren and the late Lou Warren, and is a 1998 graduate of John Glenn High School.

Warren attended Muskingum University, and holds a degree in Industrial Design from of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
